Summary
OweDone does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your app data. It has no accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party SDKs.
Data stored by the app
Ledger names, participant names, expenses, dates, currencies, saved allocations, balances, and deletion status are stored locally on your device. OweDone uses this information only to provide the features you request.
OweDone does not operate a server for this data and cannot see or recover it. Your operating-system backup settings may independently include app data in a device backup.
Data collection and tracking
OweDone collects no data from the app. It does not use analytics, advertising identifiers, cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-app or cross-website tracking.
Sharing and deletion
When you use the system share sheet, you choose the destination and recipient. OweDone does not receive the shared summary.
Deleted ledgers and expenses remain in Recently Deleted so you can restore them. Deleting OweDone from your device removes its local app container, subject to copies retained in device backups that you control.
Support email
If you email support, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. This information is used only to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Avoid sending private ledger details unless necessary.
Children’s privacy
OweDone does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version and effective date will be posted on this page. A change will not make previously local-only ledger data available to us.
